After a change to our awards format in 2020, we are delighted to bring back our traditional awards programme recognising the incredible work of social enterprise organisations here in Scotland.
This year again, we are delighted to link our awards to the UK wide programme in England, Northern Ireland and Wales, offering wider opportunities for promotion and celebration of the work of Scottish social enterprises in the past year. We owe a big thank you to our 2021 sponsors for their support in making the Social Enterprise Awards Scotland possible.
While our event will not have a COVID-19 focus, as our Digital Showcase did in 2020, we know so many organisations have really demonstrated great community leadership and impact in the past year and this is something our judging panel will take into account.
We are delighted to have seven award categories open for application this year and in recognising the way people and teams have come together in difficult circumstances, we have also updated our Social Enterprise Champion category to include all staff and volunteers. This is a great opportunity to nominate and celebrate someone in your team who has gone above and beyond to really support your organisation and its mission this last year.
While it’s too early to announce arrangements for our 2021 event, as we will still need to be run in line with the regulations at the time, please save the date (November 2nd) as we hope to run a blended event, using digital and face to face event formats.
We encourage you to apply in the Social Enterprise Awards Scotland 2021, the deadline for entries to be submitted is Monday, July 19th 2021 and please do share the word with colleagues and peers using the hashtag #SocEntAwards21 to take part in the conversation online.
