This policy sets out what personal information we collect, how we will treat it and how we will keep it protected in compliance with our legal obligations.

We are the controller for the purposes of data protection legislation in respect of the personal information that we hold about you. The type of personal information we collect depends on what you do when you visit our website and the outcome of your Awards application.
(i) If you or your organisation applies for the Social Enterprise Awards Scotland:

We will retain this personal information for 6 months if the nomination is unsuccessful and 18 months if the nomination is successful.

(ii) If you or your organisation applies for the Social Enterprise Awards Scotland and gives us consent to contact you for marketing purposes in relation to services and events:

Where you have provided us with consent to process this information, we will retain this information for a period of 24 months after which time we will ask you to renew your consent to allow us to continue processing your information.

Each time we email you, we will provide you with the option to opt out of receiving further correspondence of this nature from us.
(iii) If you or your organisation is the winner of an award at the Social Enterprise Awards Scotland:
